SEV publishes the journal Ethos, and the SEV Newsletter once a term for members.

SEV Newsletter

The SEV Newsletter is an information source for educators about forthcoming professional learning programs, events and resources. Inserts with reports, educational articles and advertisements for performances and educational activities are also included in the SEV Newsletter.

Ethos

Ethos is a refereed journal containing feature articles about teaching and learning in Social Education, with a focus on pedagogy. The journal contains reviews of new teaching materials and resources. It also contains reports and information from educational stakeholders.

Guidelines for advertising

Advertisers need to send a sample of inserts or advertisements to SEV for approval.
Organisations or individuals wishing to advertise through the Ethos journal or the SEV Newsletter, please follow the guidelines below and contact SEV for approval by email admin @ social education victoria or by phoning the SEV office 9349 4957.

Supplying advertisements/inserts

Advertisements need to be supplied printer friendly. That is, any advertisements that are mainly photographs need to be supplied as either a high res tiff (300dpi) or high res eps or high res pdf with text converted to curves (300dpi). Advertisements with a large amount of text need to be supplied as a high res eps with text converted to curves. Please do not supply files in programs such as word.

Inserts

Please ensure inserts are supplied on paper, not card. Please contact admin @ social education victoria for further details and approval.
