Electoral and Referendum Amendment (Electoral Integrity and Other Measures) Bill 2005

This will implement government policies on disclosure thresholds, closure of rolls, 'third parties', prisoner voting, enrolment identification, deregistration of parties, and publishers' and broadcasters' returns. Outcomes include higher thresholds for disclosure of gifts to parties, less time for enrolment after election announcement, annual returns required from unions and a bar on voting by all prisoners.
