This project contains learning resources relevant to civics and citizenship education. The resources are arranged into four areas: 

• Global Citizen
• Australian Citizen
• Digital Citizen
• Active Citizen

Materials for each topic include an engaging visual poster, student activities and links to other useful resources.

All areas contain Web 2.0 elements that allow students the opportunity to create, communicate and share their learning of civics and citizenship education.

These resources are relevant to the:

• Civics and Citizenship domain of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS)
• National statements of Learning for Civics and Citizenship
• The Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians (MYCEETA, 2008) states that “all young Australians become active and informed citizens’ (Goal 2).
