Launched in December 2007, Social Education: A Statement for Victorian Schools has been prepared by Social Education Victoria to emphasise and promote the importance of teaching Social Education in Victorian schools. It supports teacher practice and school implementation models within the domains presented in the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).
