Student empowerment

student empowerment banner 2

Student voice, agency and leadership, these are terms that we hear a lot – they’re prioritised in departmental policy documents and in documentation for independent and religious schools. That said, the meaning of student empowerment varies between teachers, schools, and communities; it’s clear that teachers want and need the opportunity to develop their understanding about this together.

We’re delighted to support teachers and schools to work together to learn about and implement strategies for student voice and agency.

Our free online learning modules and resources were developed through a two-year program of teacher professional learning, funded by the Department of Education’s Strategic Partnerships Program.
