Joining SEV for 2026
Membership registrations for 2026 have now opened.
You can learn more about the benefits of joining SEV here.
– If you'd like to change which colleague is the primary contact (aka the 'admin') for your membership, please email us before submitting your renewal.
– Most of our member schools use the option of auto-renewing their SEV membership each year.
To check or update your auto-renewal preferences, log in and select Membership > Account details > Will this be an ongoing membership?.
– After joining or renewing, make sure you add your colleagues via Membership > Teachers associated with this membership so they can access your school's member benefits.

– If you or your school aren't a member for this year, but you register to become a member for 2025, you'll receive membership benefits from the moment you register
(rather than having to wait until 1 January 2025) as a 'grace period'.If you're logged in but unable to see a 'renew' button for your relevant option below, this may be because you already have an active membership for the current period. You can check whether your membership is active by going to your account details and selecting 'My membership'.
This option is for larger schools – that is, those with multiple campuses and/or more than 900 secondary students enrolled. It provides up to 12 teachers at your school with access to member benefits.

This is our most common membership type.
This option is reserved for single-campus schools with fewer than 900 secondary (7-12) students enrolled. It provides up to 8 teachers at your school with access to our member resources and substantial discounts on our professional learning, trial exams, and other resources.

This membership type is reserved for very small schools (those with fewer that 300 enrolled secondary students), and/or those with an ICSEA score below 950. You can check your school's ICSEA score here.

This option is for schools that teach primary (P-6) levels only.

This option is for tertiary institutions such as universities, as well as non-school educational organisations.

Is this the right membership type for you?
If you're currently working at a school, you should seek internal approval for the school itself to join SEV first, in order to allow multiple teachers access to our resources and relevant discounts.
Individual memberships are usually only available to teachers whose employing schools have refused to join. Employing schools are unable to pay for individual teacher memberships, and are unable to take advantage of discounts available to individual members (such as trial exams).

This membership type is provided to support pre-service teachers.
University email address and student ID number must be provided when registering as a pre-service teacher. When commencing work as a teacher, you will be able to join as a teacher associated with your school's SEV membership.

Registering on behalf of your employing school, rather than an individual, allows you to add and share our resources with your colleagues.

For secondary school teachers that are not currently teaching at a school – such as those that are retired, unemployed or on leave.

When working at a university or other organisation, you should seek internal approval for the organisation itself to join SEV before joining or renewing as an individual. This will allow others in the organisation to access to our resources and relevant discounts.
